The road and RHP is not the type of game where the Blue Jays produce their best results. The Jays are the fourth-worst road team to the moneyline in all of baseball, and near the bottom against RHP as well. They also are just 9-17 on the road against sub .500 teams. Tampa Bay has played their best baseball of the season of late as they have now gone 10-3 over their last 13 games. They have produced more runs over this 13 game stretch, than any team in baseball. The D-Rays have scored 9.07 runs per game (RPG) in their last 13. Edwin Jackson was 0-8 with an 8.20 ERA in mid June, but he has lowered that to the mid-fives and has picked up four wins and pitching much better. Dustin McGowan has pitched well, but the Jays inability to score on the road has cost him, as the Jays stand just 3-9 in his road starts. His personal ERA has not helped the cause, as he has a road ERA that is 1.5 runs higher than at home. We like the hot D-Rays to take game 1.
