The Toronto Blue Jays are simply a different team when they have to face lefthand pitching. This is a team that is pounding righthanders to the tune of 5.6 runs a game, the second best in baseball behind the Yankees. The problem for the offense has been manufacturing anything close to that vs lefthanders as the 5.6 runs a game drops off the charts to dead last in baseball at 2.8 runs a game. David Price isn't just any lefthander as he is entering tonight with an ERA of 2.29 on the season. Shawn Marcum is no slouch on the mound either with a 2.77 ERA and the Rays are 0.6 runs worse on offense vs righthanders than vs lefthanders. The Jays offensive is worse vs southpaws which have led to a 6-1-1 decision to the UNDER in their last eight, while Tampa is 8-1-2 behind Price to the UNDER as a home favorite. UNDER gets the call here.
