Toronto is battling for a wild-card berth and has won five of its past nine and sends Alek Manoah to the mound tonight and he is 12-7 with a 2.60 ERA and 1.03 WHIP. He hasn't gotten much run support lately, but he has allowed only 11 earned runs his last five starts in 29 2/3 innings. Johan Oviedo is scheduled to make just his second start for the Pirates after giving up nine runs on 26 hits in 25 1/3 innings mostly as a reliever. Pittsburgh has the third-worst bullpen in the majors with a 1.41 WHIP and tied for fourth-worst with only 27 saves.
