Toronto at Minnesota

Minnesota got the proverbial monkey off its back with its first playoff win in 19 games and that will give the Twins confidence coming into Game 2 after their 3-1 victory on Tuesday. They have Sonny Gray on the mound and he has pitched much better than his record indicates, as he owns a 2.79 ERA and 1.15 WHIP, allowing six earned runs his past five starts in 27 innings. Gray has faced Toronto once this year and gave up a run on five hits in five innings. Minnesota's bullpen had 38 saves this year and a 1.25 WHIP and it allowed no runs in 3 1/3 innings in Game 1. Toronto lost Jose Berrios' past two starts as he allowed eight runs on 12 hits in 11 2/3 innings. The Blue Jays have lost five of their past seven games and Minnesota has won six of eight. Their hitting has been sporadic all year, and right now appears stuck in a rut. Take the Twins (Max Play).
