The Angels’ pitching has been very strong, but as good as it has been, the hitting has been equally bad. Albert Pujols has been a huge disappointment, mired in a slump since he put on an Angels uniform for the first time. He’s hitting just above the Mendoza line at .202, and has yet to homer, with just 5 RBI. That combination has seen eight of the last 20 Angels’ games result with someone being shutout, or 40% of the time. The Jays have struggled against good pitching, resulting in a 14-3-2 mark to the UNDER with a total set from 7 to 8.5. In that same spot, the Angels are 10-1 to the UNDER and 9-0 to the UNDER vs. a team that scored 5+ in previous last game. Take the UNDER.
