Toronto is coming back down to earth somewhat having lost two of their last three after starting 13-5 on the season. Tonight I look for them to drop back-to-back games for the first time this season. In their last three games, the Jays are batting just .204 and they haven't hit a home run. They have to face Gil Meche tonight who has carried over his strong play from last season. Backing up Meche is a bullpen that hasn't yet blown a save at home and has notched a 2.36 ERA here. The Royals have kept opponents to just 3.4 runs per game this season (3.0 in eight night games). Meche is 12-4 against winning teams dating back to last season and 10-3 in his last 13 against teams that are .620 or better! I like the Royals in this spot.
