Toronto at Kansas City

Kansas City got some decent pitching in its opening series against Minnesota, but had trouble scoring runs and the Royals will depend on Brady Singer to keep them in the game tonight and he comes off a 10-5 season with a 1.14 WHIP and 3.23 ERA overall. Singer was especially effective at home where he was 8-2 with an 2.76 ERA. Jose Berrios did not have one of his better years with a 12-7 record and 5.23 ERA in 2022 and he was clobbered on the road where he allowed 57 earned runs in 80 2/3 innings for a 6.36 ERA. Toronto gave up 22 runs in three games against St. Louis giving the Royals a good shot to score at least a few runs. The UNDER is 10-3 the past 13 meetings and the Blue Jays are 21-9-2 UNDER after allowing at least five runs their previous game and 18-7-2 UNDER versus below .400 teams.
