The Tigers have the starting pitching advantage here as Scherzer has certainly outperformed Stewart in his limited action. But, these two pitchers will only pitch around two thirds of this game at most. The Toronto bullpen has been very good this year (3.45 ERA, 3.13 on the road) while Detroit's has been measurably worse (4.46 ERA). With neither team having any offensive edge, this equalizer results in value on the underdog in this game. Since last season, the Blue Jays own a winning record vs. winning teams. They have also been one of the better road teams in the majors over that span, producing positive return for backers. This season in night games, they are 29-18. I think they can certainly win this game and I like them at these odds.
