Toronto at Detroit

Detroit is a miserable 12-32 at home as the Tigers are on their way to a 100-plus loss season while being saddled with the $125 million-dollar contract of Jordan Zimmermann, who has been a complete bust. Zimmermann is 0-6 with a 7.01 ERA and Detroit has lost eight of his last nine starts and he has allowed 14 runs on 31 hits his last 7 1/3 innings.  Marcus Stroman has not given up more than three runs his last five starts and his 3.25 ERA indicates he has been pitching better than his 5-10 record. The Tigers have lost 36 of their last 51 home games versus right-handed starters and 20 of 28 in the first game of a series overall. We're getting a bargain price on Toronto in this matchup, so play the Blue Jays.
