Toronto at Boston

Toronto is fighting to remain competitive in the tough AL East, but they lost another series over the weekend against the Mets. The Jays put up 10 runs for the third time in five games Saturday, winning 10-3, and rank third in the majors with 5.2 per game, but they've been sporadic all year. Boston is fresh off winning three of four from the Yankees, coming back from a 4-0 deficit in the eighth to get the win yesterday. The Red Sox rank fourth, just behind the Jays with 5.1 runs per game. Boston sends Nick Pivetta to the mound and he is 1-1 with a 7.56 ERA in three starts vs. the Jays this season. Toronto will counter with Nathan Hatch, who is making his season debut. Boston is unlikely to overlook a division rival but Toronto has the sticks to power its way to a win tonight.
