Toronto at Baltimore

Toronto is in free fall and in danger of replacing the Orioles in the AL East cellar. Baltimore took two of three from the Blue Jays in April. Toronto has lost 25 of its last 33 games overall, including a three-game sweep at the hands of the Arizona Diamondbacks this past weekend when the Jays were outscored 22-4. John Means has been one of the bright spots for Baltimore and has pitched better than his 5-4 record indicates. Means has a 2.67 ERA and .220 opponent batting average and he hasn't allowed more than three runs in any of his last six starts. Also, the left-hander has a 1.53 ERA in seven appearances at home where opposing hitters are batting just .183 against him. Toronto is 8-24 its last 32 road games versus left-handed starters and Trent Thornton is 1-4 with a 5.92 ERA in night games. Take the Orioles.
