Toronto has regained the momentum that it lost at the end of the regular season and beginning of this series, and now has the upper hand playing at home in the deciding game. Marcus Stroman started game two and allowed four runs (three earned) in seven innings, but he was 4-0 with a 1.67 ERA in the month of September. The seven Texas batters that have faced Stroman are 2-for-21 and he is 2-0 with a 0.64 ERA in two starts at home this season. The Blue Jays actually have had success against Cole Hamels as the hitters that have faced him have a .314 batting average and .900 OPS. Hamels is 7-6 with a 3.99 ERA on the road this year and he gave up four runs (two earned) and six hits in seven innings in the Rangers' 14-inning win on Friday. Troy Tulowitzki's big blast in game three appears to have brought the Toronto offense back to life which will carry over to today at Rogers Centre today. Go with Toronto to advance to the ALCS.
