Texas at Tampa Bay

Texas had won five in a row before losing its past two games, but the Rangers still are on top by five games in the AL West and have Nathan Eovaldi starting tonight with an 8-2 record and 2.24 ERA and 0.93 WHIP. The Rangers have won his past three starts and Eovaldi has given up just one run on 11 hits in that span, including a 12-3 win over Seattle on Sunday when he pitched six scoreless innings on one hit. Tampa Bay has lost three of Taj Bradley's past four starts although he allowed two runs on six hits in five innings his last outing in a 6-2 win over Boston. Bradley has a 6.43 ERA in three home starts with a .310 opponent batting average. Texas has won eight of nine following a loss and 14 of 19 overall and it is 19-13 on the road.
