Texas at St. Louis

The Texas Rangers come to St. Louis for game six just one game shy of their first World Series Championship. The last thing they want to do is go to a pressure packed game seven on the road, so whatever they have will be in full force tonight for this one. Colby Lewis handcuffed this Cardinal lineup in his first start in the World Series, limiting them to just one run and four hits over 6.2 innings and, that was right here in St. Louis. The Rangers will have their hands full with Jaime Garcia who shut them down for seven innings in his start, but the Rangers have been at their best vs. lef-thand pitching where they are 7-1 in their last eight and have also been very solid after a day off at 20-8 in their last 28. Lewis has been highly effective in anticipated pitching duels where the Rangers are now 9-3 in his last 12 with a total of 7-8.5, while the Cards are just 1-4 in that same situation behind Garcia in his last five. I like Texas to close out the series in game six tonight.
