The Texas Rangers were always known as a hitting team with no pitching. The latest version that went to the World Series is all about pitching. The Rangers have struggled on the road having gone 5-8. Offensively, they exploded for 11 vs. Oakland and 13 vs. Baltimore, but the other 11 show a total of 30 runs, or less than 3 per contest. Seattle simply doesn't have a lineup that features staying power offensively, but they get good pitching with a bullpen that has not allowed a run in 13.1 innings of work. Eric Bedard has a pedigree on the mound and despite some early struggles he gets a shot at a lineup that is not producing on the road with the benefit of a bullpen that is suddenly emerging. I’m playing on Seattle and the UNDER in this one.
