Texas at Seattle

The Seattle Mariners for the longest time to start this season had a team batting average of below .200. It looked like they were on their way to breaking a record of futility. The bats have come around and are respectable now, while the pitching remains decent. The changes have taken Seattle from a team at 29-35 and looking outside of the playoffs to one that is 12-4 over its last 16 games and 4 games over .500 and looking like a playoff team. The Rangers despite somewhat better play over the last week still look like they have a long way to go and their biggest issue will be trying to avoid a 100 loss season. Seattle is home, they are the better team, and playing their way toward a playoff opportunity. Make the play on Seattle.
