Texas at Seattle

The Texas Rangers can't be very happy with their 4-6 start to the season. This is a team that has recorded 90+ wins in six of the last seven seasons, including the playoffs. The record is somewhat misleading in the early going as the Rangers have out-scored their opponents by +0.8 runs a game, and they have suffered half their losses by a single run. The Mariners made some changes to bolster a pedestrian lineup in the offseason, but those impacts have yet to be felt. The M's are off to a 3-8 start, averaging a paltry 3.64 runs per game and have yet to win a game where their opponent scored more than two runs (0-7). The Rangers appear to be playing better than their record, while Seattle is not. Take Texas.
