Texas at San Francisco

The San Francisco Giants have to be feeling good as they cut the legs out from under Texas by beating their "invincible" ace Cliff Lee. Many gave the edge to the Rangers based on the fact that Lee would win two games in the series. The Giants not only beat him, they pounded the entire Rangers’ staff. It almost looks like the Rangers are flat, having cleared their highest hurdle in beating the Yankees. Matt Cain has been better than even Cliff Lee in the postseason as he has worked 13.2 innings without surrendering an earned run. The Rangers counter with C.J. Wilson who has been off his game late in the season with the Rangers. At just 4-5 in his last nine starts, and he failed twice vs. the Yankees. The last eight games Texas has played after allowing 5 or more runs have not had a single one of them top the total. They are also 21-9-1 to the UNDER in their last 31 vs. a pitcher with a WHIP of less than 1.15. The Giants are 23-9 in Cain's last 32 home starts, as well as 11-1 to the UNDER after scoring 5+ in their last game. I like San Francisco to win and also the UNDER in game two.
