Texas at San Francisco

San Francisco has been the surprise of the National League as it leads the NL West with a 20-14 record in what was expected to be another rebuilding year. The Giants do come off a loss on Sunday after winning the first two games against the Padres and they have Alex Wood on the mound tonight and he is 3-0 with a 1.96 ERA while allowing only five runs in 23 innings this season. The left-hander has a .114 opposing batting average in two starts at home and his counterpart, Kyle Gibson, has given up 11 runs (10 earned) on 17 hits in 21 1/3 innings on the road. Texas has lost its past five interleague road games and the Rangers are 1-10 their past 11 interleague games versus left-handed starters. San Francisco is 10-3 following a loss. Take the Giants.
