The Rangers are just 8-14 on the road, averaging only 3.5 runs per game. Over their last seven games overall, they are getting only 2.9 per game. While Philly doesn't score a lot, they score more than that. And, their pitching helps them win a lot of games, even without big run support. Roy Oswalt has been great again this year, going 3-1 with a 3.09 ERA. Backing him up is a Philly bullpen that has given up just 35 earned runs in 114 innings pitched, saving 15 of 16! That doesn't bode well for the Rangers who are 6-14 this season vs. a bullpen with an ERA of 3.33 or better. Take the Phillies to win here. Also take the UNDER. Oswalt is very tough to hit and his bullpen is even better. Texas doesn't have the offense, especially on the road, to hit this team. Matt Harrison has been solid this year and on the road he's got a 3.42 ERA. And, his bullpen is also worthy (3.57 road ERA). Philly doesn't score a lot (3.9 runs per game). They do it with pitching. Take the Phils and the UNDER here.
