The Texas Rangers can move one step closer to wrapping up the AL West with a win tonight in Oakland. The Rangers will send Cliff Lee to the mound, and whenever you can get him at nearly a breakeven price, it is worth a look. Lee is short priced here because he went through a bad period when he came over to the Rangers, but evidenced by his last two starts those troubles are behind him. Lee has worked 16 innings in his last two starts allowing just eight hits and 2 runs. The A's have sure had their problems solving the crafty lefthanders serves, as they have produced just 4 runs in his last 31.2 innings against them, for a skinny 1.37 ERA. That includes getting blanked for 9 this year. Dallas Braden is come upon hard times lately as the A's have dropped his last four starts, where he has turned in a not-so stellar 6.23 ERA. I'll go with Texas here.
