Rewinding the clock back to the start of the 2014 season, there are very few that could have projected that through half a season, the New York Mets would have a better record than the Texas Rangers. The Rangers' rotation has suffered a lot of injuries, and the offense just hasn't been of the same caliber of what we have seen from this team in recent years. Bartolo Colon, the ageless one, has been pitching very well, losing just one game in his last nine starts. Colby Lewis may be 5-5 on the season, but he has pitched very poorly, with an ERA of close to 6 for the season. The Rangers' road woes have left them at 1-11 in their last 12, and the Mets now own a 15-7 record in their last 22 interleague games vs. a losing team. Back the Mets at home.
