Texas at Los Angeles

Texas defeated the Angels 7-3 on Sunday, but four of the runs were unearned and the Rangers still are only 17-51 on the road and send A.J. Alexy to the mound tonight to make only his second start of the year. Jamie Barria will start for Los Angeles in what is likely to be a bullpen game for the Angels. Barria probably will go three or four innings although he has pitched well at home this season with a 2.50 ERA in 18 innings. The Angels have won eight of the past 10 meetings and they are 12-4 their past 16 games versus teams with .400 or worse winning percentages. Joe Madden has done a good job keeping the team around .500 while dealing with several key injuries, including Mike Trout. Take the Angels.
