Texas at Kansas City

The Texas Rangers have been a lot more competitive this season than expected. The Rangers opened their series last night in Kansas City with a no-contest 10-4 win. It now has the Rangers looking at the .500 mark for the season, and a win tonight and tomorrow will get them there. The Royals like a lot of bad teams have brief bursts of playing well. The Royals were 6-2 over a recent 8-game stretch, but that magic is gone as they have dropped 3 straight where they allowed 24 total runs or 8 per contest. Kansas City has looked like the team that is 20 games below .500 of late while the Rangers are making a run at .500. I like Texas in this one - Max Play
