Texas at Kansas City

I'm not sure if any team in MLB has suffered the pitching casualties that Texas has. They started the season looking horrible, but a 14-4 run over their last 18 games has them 4.5 games behind the team with the best record in the AL, and have reached contending status. The Rangers have played better than any team in baseball, and are coming off last night's shutout win against the Royals, moving them to 18-11. The Royals have some outstanding pitching, but Yordano Ventura has not been part of that yet in 2015. Ventura is just 3-4 with a hittable 4.26 ERA on the season. The Rangers have frustrated winning teams on their way to a 24-7 mark in their last 31 against them, while the Royals continue their free fall at 2-8 in their last 10. Back the visitors in this one.
