Texas at Kansas City

Kansas City suffered a tough 1-0 loss to the Rangers on Saturday, but the Royals have a good opportunity to bounce back against Yu Darvish, who has lost his last four decisions, and Texas has lost eight of his last nine starts. Darvish has a 6.94 ERA in two July appearances. And after a good start this season, his record now is 6-8 with a 3.49 ERA. The Royals have won four of their last five home games against right-handed starters and are 24-21 overall at home while the Rangers are 20-25 on the road. Ian Kennedy has put together three quality starts in a row, and Kansas City has won five of his last six outings.
