Texas at Houston

Bruce Bochy won three World Series with San Francisco and he is working his magic again as Texas is sailing through the playoffs with five straight wins and sweeping Tampa Bay and Baltimore. The Rangers have outscored their opponents 32-12 in the postseason and they have Jordan Montgomery on the mound in Game 1 against Houston and Texas has won both his starts. Montgomery pitched six shutout innings on six hits against the Rays and then was bailed out by his offense in a four-inning stint versus the Orioles. Montgomery was a big help to the Rangers down the stretch after being acquired from St. Louis. Houston beat Minnesota in four games, but Texas will be a much more formidable opponent with a solid offense and the bullpen has risen to the occasion the past month. Take the Rangers as a Max Play.
