Texas at Houston

It's been a good bet to go against the Astros all year, a team with the worst record in baseball at 37-78. They have dropped four straight and eight of nine. Starter Dallas Keuchel (5-6, 4.96 ERA) has been hittable, allowing 127 hits in 105 innings, and isn't helped by awful defense in the field behind him. The Astros are 17-40 in their last 57 games as a home underdog, 15-40 in their last 55 overall. Texas has won six in a row and 11 of 12 to take a one-game lead over Oakland in the AL West. The Rangers may have found the piece they were missing with slugger Nelson Cruz suspended, as newly acquired outfielder Alex Rios knocked in the tying run and scored to put Texas ahead on Saturday. The Rangers are 8-0 in their last eight games as a favorite, and Texas has won nine of 11 meetings this season with Houston.  Texas has also won 17 of the last 20 meetings in Houston and leads the all-time series 27-16 at Minute Maid Park. Play the Rangers.
