Texas at Detroit

Detroit is only one game out of first place and tied in the loss column with Minnesota in the AL Central as the Tigers finally have shown some life with the bats and have won four of five. The Tigers beat the White Sox on Sunday when Eric Haase hit a walk-off sacrifice fly in the 10th after Detroit had blown a 4-1 lead. Texas had a four-game win streak snapped in a 3-2 loss to Baltimore. The Tigers have won Matthew Boyd's past two starts as he has allowed four runs on seven hits in 10 1/3 innings and Texas hitters are only 10-for-44 with three home runs against him. The Tigers have won seven of 10 meetings and they have won six Monday games in a row. Nathan Eovaldi has been hot lately, but in two day games he has given up five runs on 11 hits in 10 2/3 innings this season. Play the Tigers as a Max Play
