Texas at Detroit

The Detroit Tigers will try and pick up the pieces after being swept in Cleveland in three straight games. The Tigers will be glad to be back home, and have rookie sensation Robbie Ray on the mound with his 0.75 ERA. Ray has had a pair of outstanding starts, and will take on Yu Darvish who is pitching well once again. The problem for Texas has been a rash of injuries effecting the lineup, the rotation, and the bullpen. The team has certainly felt the damage as they enter this game at just 22-24 on the season. Ray has shown the capacity to duel with Darvish, and the rest of the games edges belong to Detroit in this one. The Rangers are 1-7 in their last eight vs. a pitcher with a WHIP of less than 1.15, and is also 1-7 in their last eight after a win.
