Texas at Detroit

The Tigers have won as many games as anyone over the last couple years, but that has not translated very well to Nate Robertson. Detroit is just 4-8 in his starts this season and 29-44 over the last three years. Robertson is pitching to a 5+ ERA and is fresh off the DL to make this start. He will be facing a Texas team that is playing as well as they have all season. The Rangers have won 8 of 11, by far their best streak of the season. They have done it with booming bats, producing 7+ runs a game, and the pitching has been adequate. This is a good opportunity to take on a pitcher fresh off the DL that has not fared well this season. He may have trouble locating pitches which is very dangerous to a hot team. The Rangers have slugged 15 HR's in their last six games. Good place for a big live dog.
