For the longest time, the Texas Rangers were all about hitting and just never had the arms to make any headway. Now this team is dominated by good pitching. The next in line for those honors may be Alexi Ogando. Ogando was brought up last year and proceeded to go 4-1 with a stellar 1.30 ERA, and he has backed that up by making his 2011 debut with six scoreless innings. Justin Verlander is a top-of-the-rotation pitcher, and when he has been on full four days of rest, the Tigers are 8-2 to the UNDER in his last 10. The Rangers have a 23-11-1 mark vs. a pitcher with a WHIP of 1.15 or less. I know it is early, but Verlander is of that quality. I’m playing on the UNDER.
