Texas at Colorado

The Texas Rangers have bounced back from dropping four straight to take two of three in Los Angeles as they head for Colorado. They will send Martin Perez to the mound. And despite getting lit up in his last start, Perez has been solid with a 4-1 record and a slender 2.95 ERA on the season. Perez has not allowed a run in three of his five starts, and he has been even better on the road at 2-0 with a 2.35 ERA on the season. Jordan Lyles has pitched well for the Rockies, but his track record against the Rangers is about as bad as it gets. Lyles is 0-5 with a 9.82 ERA against them. The Rangers have been getting it done vs. winning teams as they are 6-0 on the road against them in their last six. The Rockies, after exploding for 28 runs in the first three games vs. the Mets were limited to a single run yesterday, and Perez will present an equally challenging night for their offense. The Rockies have identical 4-1 marks to the UNDER in their last five as a home favorite from -110 to -150, and their last five vs. the AL West. Takes two teams to score to get up and over a high total, and I think Perez holds the Rockies down here. Make the play on Texas and the UNDER.
