Texas at Colorado

Colorado had a day off to recover from a wild 9-8 loss to San Francisco after beating the Giants the previous two games. German Marquez gets the start tonight and he comes off three quailiy starts with not much to show for it. Marquez has allowed only seven earned runs in 18 innings his last three outings while July and August have been his best months this season. Texas starter Dane Dunning has not had any luck on the road as he has an 0-5 record and 5.08 ERA and .301 opposing batting average away from home and now he has to pitch in hitter-friendly Coors Field. Texas is 5-12 its past 17 games following a win and 16-39 its past 55 road games with a posted total of 9.0-10.5 and Colorado is 23-8 at home in that situation.
