Texas at Cleveland

After yesterday's rainout, the Rangers and Guardians are playing two today and each team is sticking with Monday's scheduled starter. For Rangers righty Jon Gray, it's his first start against Cleveland and so far this season, Gray has posted a strong 44:15 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 41 innings, holding batters to a .230 average. Texas is 12-12 on the road, winning five of seven against losing teams with a bullpen that is No. 11 in ERA. The Rangers have a winning record over their last 12 (7-5), winning four times as a dog. Cleveland is 3-6 in Cal Quantrill's past nine starts and they are also 54-62 at home after two or more straight road games, plus 34-53 after a contest where the bullpen gave up no earned runs.
