Texas at Chicago

The Texas Rangers made a lot of moves in the off-season and built a contender overnight. The Rangers are 45-28 on the season and as we approach the all-star break they hold a five-game lead over the surging LA Angels. Things have not gone well for Texas recently though as the Rangers are a woeful 5-8 in their last 13 games. The pitching has really failed as they have allowed seven or more runs in six of the 13 games. The White Sox are just 32-43 on the season but have put together a good stretch of games as they are 9-8 in their last 17 contests. They have held opponents to four or fewer runs in 10 of those 17 games. Chicago has lost three of those games by a single run, and I like them on the run line in this one.
