Texas at Chicago

The Texas Rangers took three of four in LA earlier this week, and now have a commanding lead in the AL West. They stand just four games over .500 on the road. Alexi Ogando has put up sparkling numbers on the season at 12-5 with a 3.33 ERA, but looking closer reveals he may be hitting the wall. Ogando opened with a 2.10 ERA over his first 12 starts, but in his last 11 starts his ERA has been a king size 5.03. John Danks has been exactly the antithesis of that with Chicago a disappointing 1-9 in his first 10 starts where he struggled to a 5.11 ERA. Danks has been great since, going 7-2 in his last nine starts, backed by his 2.47 ERA. These pitchers are heading in opposite directions and Chicago is a live home dog here, so the White Sox get the call.
