This has been a tough year for Red Sox Nation as their beloved Sox have been straddling the .500 mark all season long. They are getting healthier, and have always been a dangerous team at Fenway, especially as a dog. Over the last nine seasons the Sox own a 33-26 mark here as an underdog and have a positive return even this season as they seem to rise to the occasion vs. better teams. The league has caught up to Yu Darvish who opened the season with a bang but has fallen dramatically since. Through his first eight starts, Darvish had an impressive 2.60 ERA, but has since been getting pounded to the tune of a 5.62 ERA over his last 75 innings of work. The Rangers recent work as a road favorite has been ugly at 1-6 in their last seven, and their resume here shows a 19-39 mark in their last 58. Play on Boston.
