Texas at Boston

The Texas Rangers had the bats raining hits all over Fenway Park yesterday on their way to a 10-7 win in Boston. The Red Sox have started slow at 3-5, and were swept by the Brewers here, and stand at just 1-4 at Fenway to open the season. Boston's pitching has been suspect early, allowing 6 runs or more in three of their eight games, while a few key contributors on offense are off to slow starts. Jake Peavy is not what he once was, and he has failed to earn a win in four career starts vs. the Rangers at 0-2 with a huge 7.59 ERA against them. The Rangers are 28-11 in their last 39 vs. a team below .400, and have beaten up the Sox to a tune of a 12-5 mark in the last 17 meetings. The Onslaught vs. Peavy continues, so play on Texas.
