Tampa Bay at Oakland

Oakland is 38-18 over its last 56 games overall and 45-21 its last 66 home games and the Athletics have won 20-of-28 versus right-handed starters. The teams last played each other in June and the A's took two of three at Tampa Bay and then they split a four-game series later that month. Oakland will start either Sean Manaea, who has a 4-0 record and 1.21 ERA since returning from a shoulder injury or Mike Fiers, who was 9-2 with a 2.90 ERA at home this season. Fiers finished 15-4 overall with a 3.90 ERA and in two starts against Tampa Bay where he allowed only three runs on seven hits in 12 innings. Charlie Morton goes for the Rays and he had a 4.06 ERA the second half of the season compared to 2.32 before the All-Star break.
