Tampa Bay at Oakland

The Oakland Athletics have improved from last year's version, which went on to lose 112 games. They still have a long way to go, as they are 53-71 on the season. They will hand the ball to Joe Boyle, who has had rough outings. The A's are 3-5 in his eight decisions on the season, but opponents scored nine or more runs in three of those games. The Rays send out Taj Bradley, who has shown steady improvement on the season as the Rays are 7-4 in his last 11 decisions. Bradley has seen three of his last eight opponents held scoreless. I like the Tampa Bay Rays in this one.
