Matt Moore has yet to find the groove that carried the Rays to a 21-7 record in his 28 starts in 2013. Moore is off Tommy John surgery, and should be about ready to show a lot more than he has to this point. The Yankees dealt for Nathan Eovaldi in the offseason, and while he is 14-2 on the season, the numbers don't add up. Eovaldi has been the beneficiary of 6.1 runs per start in his 26 outings. His opponents have tallied 6 or more runs in nine of those starts, so the oddsmakers here have made imaginary adjustments to the line, and Eovaldi is ripe for an adjustment in his record as well. The Yanks have not been good at home to a posted total of 7 to 8.5 as their up-and-down offense tends to struggle in anticipated lower-scoring games, as they are 3-7 in their last 10 in this spot.
