Tampa Bay may have escaped with a win here last night, but their offensive woes appear to be far from over. The Rays have scored more than four runs just one time in 15 of their last 16 games. They are just 6-13 down the stretch, as their lead for the second and final wildcard spot has been getting smaller, and the pressure is on the increase. Andrew Albers has done well for Minnesota with a 3.35 ERA and a 2-2 record. The Rays are going to have to earn their runs here as Albers has walked just three in over 45 innings, and that is problematic for this Tampa lineup right now. The Rays enter at just 1-7 in their last eight after allowing two runs or less in their last game, and have been coming up empty vs. left handed pitching where they are 3-10 in their last 13. Play this one on Minnesota.
