Tampa Bay at Minnesota

Tampa Bay exploded for 19 runs on Saturday, including 15 in the final three innings as the Rays banged out 20 hits in the 19-6 win over the Twins.  Tampa Bay has won 21 of the last 30 meetings at Minnesota, and the Rays have won six of their last eight games overall. The Twins have allowed 27 runs their last two games and have Fernando Romero going today. He is 3-3 with a 4.38 ERA in 10 starts this season, but will be making his first start since June 22 when he gave up four runs in six innings in an 8-1 loss to Texas. Ryne Stanek figures to pitch an inning or two as the Rays continue to use several relief pitchers on certain days. Tampa Bay is surprisingly three games over .500, so the strategy is working so far.
