Tampa Bay at Detroit

The Rays had a Tiger by the tail last night, but let 'em go as the pen melted a 6-4 lead into a sour 7-6 defeat. They must try to pick up the pieces today, again in Detroit, with a troublesome option on the hill in Andy Sonnanstine. Sonnanstine demoted to the pen a year ago because he couldn't get it done is living a recurring nightmare as the Rays are 0-3 since he slipped back in the rotation. The smart money is a long way from Tampa and their 0-9 record as Sonnanstine graces the hill on the road vs. a winning team.
