Tampa Bay at Chicago

Tampa Bay is still fighting for a playoff spot and the Rays have won seven of their last 10 as their bats have come alive after a brief hitting slump. The Rays didn't play yesterday and they have won six of their last eight when following an off day and they have won five of Blake Snell's last five starts. Meanwhile, the last-place White Sox have lost three straight, including 5-4 to the Twins on Thursday on a walk-off hit by pitch, which capped a two-run ninth inning rally by Minnesota. Chicago has lost 35 of its last 51 overall and eight of its last 28 against left-handed starters. Snell has put together two quality starts in a row while allowing only two runs on six hits in 14 innings. Reynaldo Lopez has a 6.97 ERA and gave up six runs on five hits in 4 1/3 innings his last outing at Texas and he's making only his third start of the season. Take the Rays.
