Tampa Bay at Boston

It is getting to be crunch time for the Rays who need this game badly. They will have to get it done vs. a top of the rotation pitcher against Jon Lester. Lester has had a great season with an ERA of 3.07 but the Rays have certainly had a lot of success against him over the years. They have plated 31 runs in his last 56 innings against him. That works out to a not so top of the rotation ERA of 4.98. Jeff Niemann has proven capable of handling the Sox lineup, as his last effort at Fenway shows a complete game win, allowing 2 earned runs while striking out 10. These odds are a bit too long, and the Rays have demonstrated the ability to get to Lester. Go with Tampa Bay.
