St. Louis at Washington

The Cardinals are off to a very solid start, but have had the luxury of playing a lot of the early schedule at home, and are just 2-3 in their last five on the road. Mitchell Boggs was effective in his first start for the Cards, but his success is far from a given. Boggs pitched to a 7.41 ERA in six starts and two relief appearances last year for the Cards. Daniel Cabrera has always had plus stuff, but his location and control have done him in at times. This year he has shown new life in a new uniform, and has a respectable 4.42 ERA through four starts, but less than three in his last three starts. After a 1-10 start, the Nats have been respectable at 4-5 in their last nine, and I like them in this one.
