St. Louis at Texas

The World Series is all tied-up and two games apiece. St. Louis’ bats were silenced in Game 4 as they were shutout, and the Rangers smell the blood, especially after falling short a year ago. They will send C.J. Wilson to the mound who was hammered by the Cards in his last outing for 3 runs in 5.2 innings of work. That was on the road, but Wilson is 8-2 when starting at home for the Rangers this season, and 25-9 in his last 34 starts as a home favorite for the Rangers. Texas has also been lethal against right-hand pitching where they are now 50-22 in their last 72 games against them. As a competitive favorite from -110 to -150, the Rangers have ruled the roost vs. their opponents at 25-6 in their last 31. Carpenter has been solid as a rock for the Cardinals over the years, but has lost a bit, and as a road dog of +110 to +150 he is just 1-5 in his last six. Texas gets the win, and takes the edge in the series.
