St. Louis looks to get back on track against the Rangers, who have lost five of their last seven. The Cardinals have won 14 of Miles Mikolas' last 17 road starts. The Cardinals are also 16-3 in Mikolas' last 19 starts when pitching with five days rest and they are 21-6 his last 27 starts overall. Texas has lost 19 of its last 26 in the first game of a series and the Rangers have lost six of their last eight interleague home games. Mikolas comes off a tough 2-1 loss to Pittsburgh when he allowed only two runs on three hits in seven innings and that followed seven shutout innings against Philadelphia.
